Margaret's writing explores the intersection of art, history, philosophy, music and culture in the context of contemporary life. 

Her writing has appeared in DIAGRAM (17.5), and several issues of Kinfolk, Darling Magazine, TUSK Journal, Houzz, Demand Media, Travel Oregon, and others. She earned an M.F.A. and a B.A. in Creative Writing from Brigham Young University, where she has taught writing, co-written a writing handbook, and directed research on Shakespeare. She studied art and culture in Paris—and will never say no to a pain au chocolat. She also sometimes collaborates with other artists on print, digital, and tangible installations. Based in Portland, Oregon.
